Ready to head across the border

The four of us are ready to head across the border tomorrow.  Fresh water tank is filled and the black and grey tanks will be dumped on our way out of the campground.  We are only anout 4 miles from the border this county park is wonderful.....level paved sites with water and electric.  The dogs have had a wonderful time hiking around the almost deserted campgrounds.  We meet several other rigs and people yesterday that pulled out this morning to make their way across.  Baja just isn't all that big. We will probably meet up again. The one couple have been coming down every winter for 20 years.

Hiking up to the top of the hill behind the campground.

The view from the top.

We are crossing at Tecate in Southern California....and making our way to put distance between us and the border.  I will put a link to Liz's blog and try to get links for Beth's and Mitch's. So you can follow their take on Mexico if you are interested.

As mentioned other places. My phone will be turned off and we are all hoping to check in by public WIFI and e-mail a couple of times a week as we find it..  Our own MIFI's will all be turned off!
